Title: Gone
Rating: K+
Pairings: Reid/Hotch (pre-slash, friendship)
Disclaimer: I don’t own Criminal Minds.
Warnings: Spoilers for episode 6.02 (“JJ”), which also means angst
Author’s Note (aka My Two Cents): While I hate that the team lost JJ and Criminal Minds lost AJ Cook, her last episode was a great tribute to the character and actress. It let her leave with class and dignity while giving voice to the fans’ (and, I believe, CM cast’s, staff’s, and show-runners’) unhappiness at the unfairness of her departure and leaving open the possibility of her coming back. I really, really hope that happens.
Summary: JJ’s left the BAU and the team is doing everything they can to pretend it didn’t happen – even if it means avoiding each other. Can Reid and Hotch find a way to break through the silence and help each other?
